Your school will gain most benefit from the partnership if you take time to build relationships with church leaders and members, and get to know the local church, how it works and where it fits within the ‘Big Picture’ of church life in the UK today.
Depending on the makeup of your school staff, school leaders may need to help staff understand the contribution which churches can make, both to the taught curriculum and to the life of the school beyond lesson time.
