Lesson resources

Schools usually welcome input from external sources to enhance the curriculum and church congregations have a lot to offer.

Churches are made up of a rich diversity of people, many of whom have gifts, expertise and knowledge which could be of use to a school.

They are also a potential source of all sorts of 'things' which they no longer need but which could be put to good use in a school.

Another way of a church supporting a school is through making gifts and grants towards resources which the school needs. Churches can make schools aware of opportunities to apply for grants from Christian trust funds. Collecting supermarket vouchers for computer or sports equipment is another practical way that church members can support a local school.
